Why are you postponing the festival?

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and rising uncertainty around travel and events within Europe, we have decided to postpone ‘Disturbing Malta’ from June 2020 until September 2020. We want to ensure that our customers have the best experience safely, with everything going on we cannot guarantee that they will in June 2020.

I have booked flights, what am I supposed to do?

Unfortunately, we cannot refund flights. You will need to contact your flight operator regarding flight refunds.

I have booked a hotel, what am I supposed to do?

Unfortunately, we cannot refund hotels. You will need to contact your hotel operator regarding hotel refunds.

Can I use my ticket for the new dates (4th– 6TH of September)?

You will be able to use your ticket, all tickets that have been purchased will be valid for the new festival dates. We will also be giving all ticket holders a free ticket to an exclusive boat party. Please contact for more details.

What can you do?

We are giving everyone who has already purchased a ticket and would like to attend the festival on the new dates a free boat party ticket. Please check your email account for more details.

Will the headliners/performers change?

We are working hard at keeping the same lineup so we can deliver the best possible experience by constantly adding to our festival lineup. The headliners are a big part of that experience and will not change.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the festival?

The Festival will be based in 2 main venues, Cafe Del Mar and Gianpula Village. We also have further venues which we will announce in the coming weeks.

Our main hub is Qawra, the town where Cafe Del Mar is situated. Here you will find info booths and transport stands, and will also be able to redeem your tickets for a wristband which will be required to access the festival, purchase drink tokens and merchandise.

What are the festival times?

Disturbing Malta has now been postponed to 4th – 6th September 2020. The festival schedule will be released shortly.

What age do I have to be?

The festival is 17+ and will require photographic ID for ticket collection.

Will I need to bring iD to pick up my ticket?

You will get an e-ticket sent to the email you used to register when you purchased your ticket. You will need to bring this plus an original copy of photographic ID (Passport, Drivers License etc) to collect a wristband which will be used to access the festival over the weekend.

Will there be re-entry into the festival site?

Your wristband will allow you to move freely in and out of the festival sight. However, on re-entry you will have to queue with everyone else and go through the relevant security checks. Please be aware venues do have curfew and last entry times, please check these before you leave the site as it may mean you will not be allowed to re-enter.

How do I get to the festival?

Getting to the festival couldn’t be simpler. Air Malta, Easyjet and Ryanair all have flights from different airports in London, mainly Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and Southend. There are also flights from Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, Bristol amongst others.

What happens if I lose my wristband?

Our wristbands are designed to be durable and able to withstand pressure, time and a host of activities. Your wristband is your responsibility. We do not provide replacement wristbands.

Will tickets be available on site?

Tickets on-site will be available subject to availability. We will be updating all our platforms, mainly website and socials on the ticket status. This event will sell out, make sure you get yours before it’s too late.

Can I upgrade to VIP onsite?

Yes, you can upgrade to a VIP ticket onsite depending on availability, please speak to a member of our staff on arrival.

Can I resell my ticket?

You can resell your ticket at face value. If you do re-sell your ticket you must notify us that someone else will be using your ticket. We shall need their full details including name, address and DOB. They will have to bring a copy of their ID to the festival in order to collect their entry wristband. The deadline for transferring a ticket is May 6th 2020.

How hot will it be in Malta?

Daytime temperatures usually reach 27°C in Valletta, Malta in September with moderate heat and humidity, falling to 19°C at night.

Will there be cash machines on-site?

Not all venues will have cash machines, but all venues will accept card payments for the purchase of tokens and merchandise.

What is included with my general access wristband?

General Access tickets include entry to the main festival stage and all parties apart from Brunch, The Villa and Boat parties which you can attend after purchasing a separate ticket.

What is included with my VIP access wristband?

The VIP wristband includes fast track access to all events, designated VIP areas at events and access to exclusive VIP private parties as well as general access tickets include entry to the main festival stage and all parties apart from Brunch, The Villa and Boat parties which you can attend after purchasing a separate ticket.
